Spider-Man: Brand New Day has achieved a monumental box office success, soaring past the $1 billion mark globally within just six days of its release. The film, starring Tom Holland, has firmly cemented its status as one of 2026's biggest blockbusters, captivating audiences worldwide and setting new records.
Global Box Office Triumph
According to Sony Pictures, Spider-Man: Brand New Day has amassed an astounding $1.05 billion in its opening six days. This incredible feat makes it the second-fastest film ever to cross the billion-dollar threshold, trailing only behind Avengers: Endgame, which reached $1.2 billion in its 2019 opening weekend.
The superhero epic is also the fourth Hollywood production in 2026 to join the exclusive billion-dollar club, following the successes of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Michael, and Toy Story 5. Sony Pictures chief Rothman praised the theatrical experience, stating, "All the geniuses who said that theatrical movies were dead, they’re not necessarily right. Actually, the theatrical marketplace is booming right now, and I’m excited about it. So I’m very optimistic."
Dominance in the Indian Market
In India, Spider-Man: Brand New Day has also delivered an exceptional performance, cruising past the ₹350 crore mark in gross domestic box office collections. Despite a slight daily business dip, the film's total gross domestic collection stands at ₹362.61 crore, with a net collection of ₹303.25 crore.

- Day 3: ₹70.25 crore
- Day 4: ₹77.75 crore
- Day 5: ₹23.80 crore
