Rhode Island Officials Debunk Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Wedding Rumors

· · 2 min read

Speculation about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce marrying at her Westerly, Rhode Island mansion on June 13, 2026, has been addressed. Local officials confirm they have no knowledge of any such event or associated preparations.

Rumors circulating on social media regarding a possible wedding between pop superstar Taylor Swift and NFL tight end Travis Kelce at her Rhode Island mansion have been firmly debunked by local authorities.

Westerly City Council Addresses Speculation

Reports suggested that Swift and Kelce were planning to tie the knot on June 13, 2026, at Swift's well-known Westerly Mansion in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. The rumored date was linked to Swift's long-standing connection to the number 13, which she often considers lucky.

However, the Westerly City Council has provided clarity on the widespread speculation. During a Town Council meeting on Monday, April 6, Councilor Rose Van Dover inquired with Town Manager Shawn Lacey about security and traffic protocols for a potential June wedding.

Lacey unequivocally stated, "We have no knowledge of a wedding taking place in June. If there was a wedding taking place, we would certainly have knowledge of it by now." He added that while officials typically prepare for high-profile visitors, there has been no formal planning or updates regarding any such event.

Mansion Details and Public Scrutiny

Taylor Swift purchased the Rhode Island mansion in 2013, and it is estimated to be worth approximately USD 17.75 million. The property, often a subject of public interest, sits in a coastal enclave that frequently draws attention.

The denial from local officials aims to quell the fervent excitement among fans, known as "Swifties," who have been eagerly anticipating news about the couple's future.
