Rithvik Jyothi Raj, the young actor who gained widespread recognition for his role as Rajinikanth's grandson in the blockbuster film Jailer and its upcoming sequel Jailer 2, is making headlines not just for his acting prowess but also for his entrepreneurial spirit. At just 13 years old, Rithvik has co-founded and runs a software venture with his friends.

The idea for the company, according to Rithvik, emerged spontaneously during video calls with friends. "We were just bored during video calls, so we thought, Why not create a website? That’s how it started. We know a little bit of coding, so we decided to give it a try," he explained in a recent interview. This casual beginning quickly evolved into a five-member team dedicated to building websites.

From Boredom to Business: The Coding Venture

Rithvik's company focuses on creating websites, and while it is still in its nascent stages, the team has already developed a platform that offers various products and online courses. The young entrepreneur clarified that the venture has not yet generated revenue, emphasizing its current status as an experimental learning experience.

Beyond his on-screen commitments, Rithvik possesses a keen interest in technology. He is proficient in Python, one of the most widely used programming languages, and also explores robotics. His creative pursuits extend further into music and writing, reflecting a diverse range of talents for his age.

Acting Career and Future Ambitions

Hailing from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, Rithvik Jyothi Raj first garnered attention through his online videos, where he showcased his versatility by portraying multiple characters. This early exposure paved his way into the South Indian film industry, securing roles in films like O2, Sardar, and Lucky Baskhar.

His portrayal of Rajinikanth's grandson in director Nelson Dilipkumar's 2023 hit Jailer, and reprising the role in its sequel, cemented his status as a recognizable child actor. Despite his early success in technology and acting, Rithvik harbors ambitions of becoming a comic-book writer. He also hopes to take on more significant roles in children's cinema, continually refining his storytelling abilities.

Rithvik Jyothi Raj exemplifies how curiosity and teamwork can transform moments of boredom into valuable lessons in coding, collaboration, and entrepreneurship, all while navigating a budding film career.
