Meesho, Lenskart Shares Set for Major Block Deals by SoftBank, Y Combinator

Meesho and Lenskart Solutions are poised for significant block deals on Monday. SoftBank's SVF II Lightbulb plans to sell 2.6% of Lenskart for $300 million, while Y Combinator aims to offload 1.05% of Meesho worth $100 million.

Indian e-commerce platform Meesho Ltd and eyewear retailer Lenskart Solutions Ltd are anticipated to experience substantial block deals on Monday, August 24, 2026. These transactions involve prominent early investors divesting significant stakes in both companies, according to market reports and term sheets.

SoftBank to Divest Lenskart Stake

SoftBank entity SVF II Lightbulb (Cayman) is reportedly looking to sell a 2.6 percent stake in Lenskart Solutions. This amounts to approximately 4.5 crore shares and is expected to raise around $300 million. The floor price for the Lenskart block deal has been set at Rs 635 per share, which represents about a 4 percent discount to its previous closing price on the BSE. Goldman Sachs is acting as the sole placing agent for this transaction.

Y Combinator to Offload Meesho Shares

Meanwhile, Meesho is expected to see its investor Y Combinator offload shares valued at $100 million. This corresponds to roughly 4.85 crore shares, constituting a 1.05 percent stake in the company. The block deal for Meesho has a floor price of Rs 197.50 per share, which is a 4 percent discount compared to its last closing price. Kotak Securities is managing the Meesho transaction.

Analyst Sentiment on Lenskart and Meesho

Brokerage houses have offered varied outlooks on both stocks. For Lenskart, Bloomberg consensus data indicates 18 'Buy' calls, three 'Hold' calls, and one 'Sell' call, though its 12-month target of Rs 672.24 suggests a modest 1.6 percent potential upside. Recent updates include Macquarie's 'Outperform' rating with a Rs 700 target and ICICI Securities' 'Buy' with a Rs 750 target.

Meesho has garnered eight 'Buy' ratings, three 'Hold' calls, and three 'Sell' ratings. The Bloomberg consensus target of Rs 205.77 suggests minimal upside potential. Axis Capital recently issued a 'Buy' rating with a target of Rs 230, while Macquarie holds an 'Underperform' rating with a street-low target of Rs 125.
