Cupid Shares Soar 285% in Six Months, Hit New Record High

Cupid Ltd. shares reached a new all-time high of Rs 357 on Thursday, marking a 285% increase over the last six months. The stock is currently under the Additional Surveillance Measure (ASM) framework due to high volatility.

Shares of Cupid Ltd. surged to a fresh record high on Thursday, October 8, 2026, reaching Rs 357 in early trade. This remarkable climb represents a staggering 285.51% rally over the past six months, establishing the stock as a significant multibagger.

Despite its impressive performance, Cupid's securities are currently placed under the long-term Additional Surveillance Measure (ASM) framework by both BSE and NSE. This framework is implemented by exchanges to alert investors about stocks exhibiting high price volatility.

Promoter Increases Stake Amidst Rally

Adding to the positive sentiment, Cupid Chairman and Managing Director Aditya Kumar Halwasiya recently increased his stake in the company. Last month, Halwasiya acquired 5,90,304 shares through an open market transaction, representing 0.04% of Cupid's total equity.

Following this acquisition, Halwasiya's personal shareholding rose to 34.71%, while the aggregate shareholding of the promoter and promoter group collectively increased to 47.66%.

Robust Q1 FY27 Financial Performance

The company's latest financial results for the June quarter of FY27 underscore its strong growth trajectory. Cupid reported a net profit surge of 194% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 44.15 crore, significantly up from Rs 15.01 crore in Q1 FY26.

Total income also saw a substantial increase, rising 142% YoY to Rs 156.98 crore, compared to Rs 59.80 crore in the prior-year quarter. EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) zoomed by 265% YoY to Rs 60.06 crore, with the company's EBITDA margin improving to 39% from 28% in Q1 FY26.

Cupid Ltd. specializes in the manufacturing and marketing of male and female condoms, water-based personal lubricants, and in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) kits. The company also maintains a portfolio of Consumer Healthcare and FMCG products.

Market analysts have offered varied perspectives on Cupid's current trajectory:

  • Osho Krishan, Chief Manager – Technical & Derivative Research at Angel One: Noted that Cupid has been in a secular uptrend, indicating overheated conditions. He suggested that the Rs 280–270 zone should provide strong support and advised investors to consider trailing profits while the positive trend persists.
  • Virat Jagad, Senior Technical Research Analyst at Bonanza: Stated that the stock exhibits a strong bullish setup, characterized by a clear breakout from recent consolidation and a higher-high formation. Jagad believes momentum remains positive, and sustaining above Rs 330–335 could support further upside.
  • Jigar S Patel, Senior Manager – Technical Research at Anand Rathi: Identified support at Rs 320 and resistance near Rs 350. Patel suggested that a decisive move above Rs 350 could trigger further upside towards Rs 360, anticipating the stock to trade within the Rs 320-360 range in the short term.
