JSW MG Motor India has unveiled the first glimpse of the MG Windsor Indulge Edition, a new premium variant of its electric crossover utility vehicle (CUV). This announcement coincides with the MG Windsor's second anniversary in the Indian market, where it has rapidly gained traction among consumers.

The company stated that the special edition aims to provide customers with a more exclusive and distinctive mobility experience. Further details regarding its launch date, pricing, and specific enhancements are expected closer to its official unveiling.

India's Bestselling Electric Crossover

Since its launch, the MG Windsor has been a significant success, with JSW MG Motor India claiming over 80,000 families have chosen the vehicle. This makes it India's best-selling electric vehicle, according to company figures. The Windsor's popularity stems from its spacious cabin, superior comfort, advanced technology, and compelling value proposition.

The joint venture between JSW Group and SAIC Motor has now sold more than 1.5 lakh electric vehicles in India since introducing its first EV. JSW MG Motor India is also dedicated to increasing localisation, promoting sustainable mobility solutions, and expanding its overall electric vehicle ecosystem.

Powertrain and Design Highlights

The MG Windsor is currently available with two distinct battery options. The standard version features a 38 kWh battery pack, providing a certified range of 332 km. For those requiring extended travel, the Windsor Pro is equipped with a larger 52.9 kWh battery, offering an impressive certified range of 449 km.

Both variants are powered by a robust 100 kW electric motor, capable of producing 136 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque. The vehicle's design adheres to MG's 'Aero Glide' philosophy, complementing its urban mobility focus. Inside, the cabin boasts 'Aero Lounge' seats that recline up to 135 degrees and a prominent 15.6-inch GRANDVIEW touchscreen integrated into the centre console, enhancing the user experience.
