"Mirzapur The Movie" has earned over ₹190 crore worldwide in its first six days since releasing on September 4, 2026. The film, starring Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal, crossed ₹137 crore net in India and is on track for the ₹200 crore global milestone.

The highly anticipated big-screen adaptation, Mirzapur The Movie, has made a resounding impact at the global box office, accumulating over ₹190 crore worldwide within its initial six days of release. The film, which premiered on September 4, 2026, continues to draw audiences, showcasing strong performance both domestically and internationally.

Domestic Box Office Performance

Directed by Gurmeet Singh and featuring a stellar cast including Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu Sharma, and Ravi Kishan, Mirzapur The Movie opened with an impressive ₹25.75 crore net on Day 1. This strong debut marked it as the fourth-highest Hindi opening of 2026. The film saw a significant surge on Day 2, collecting ₹32 crore, and peaked on Day 3 (Sunday) with its highest single-day haul of ₹36 crore.

During the weekdays, the film experienced typical dips, with Day 4 bringing in ₹16 crore and Day 5 adding ₹15.60 crore. On Day 6 (Wednesday), collections stood at ₹12.80 crore net, bringing its total net collection in India to ₹137.65 crore. The gross domestic collection reached ₹164.43 crore by the end of its sixth day.

Global Milestone and ₹200 Crore Target

Including overseas earnings, estimated between ₹27 crore and ₹30 crore, Mirzapur The Movie has successfully crossed the ₹190 crore mark globally. Notably, the film became the ninth Hindi title of 2026 to surpass the ₹100 crore net milestone in India, achieving this feat in just four days.

Trade analysts, including Sacnilk, attribute the sustained audience interest to robust word-of-mouth, the strong nostalgic appeal of the original web series, and overwhelmingly positive audience reviews, with many calling it "far better than the series." With its steady weekday holds and a robust opening weekend, the film is now firmly positioned to join the coveted ₹200 crore worldwide club if its current momentum persists through the coming week.

Record-Breaking Ticket Sales

The film has also set multiple records on ticketing platforms like BookMyShow (BMS). It recorded the highest first-Saturday sales among 2025–26 Hindi releases, selling 643,000 tickets. Its first-weekend sales ranked sixth overall with 1.85 million tickets. Even during weekdays, Mirzapur The Movie demonstrated exceptional audience retention, selling 358,000 tickets on Monday and 324,000 on Tuesday—the best Monday-to-Tuesday retention in its category. Despite lower pre-sales compared to some other releases, the film has already surpassed the final BMS tally of titles like Awarapan 2, reflecting significant in-theatre demand.
