Regal Jewellers Opens Chennai Showroom, Sponsors 25 Weddings for Economically Weaker Couples

· · 2 min read

Regal Jewellers launched its first Tamil Nadu showroom in Chennai, T. Nagar. The South Indian manufacturer also announced a "Regal Sumangali Nermai Vizha" initiative to sponsor 25 weddings for economically weaker couples.

Regal Jewellers has officially entered the Tamil Nadu market with the inauguration of its first showroom in Chennai. The South Indian jewellery manufacturer and wholesaler marked its expansion by launching a significant social initiative: sponsoring the weddings of 25 couples from economically weaker backgrounds.

The new outlet, located on North Usman Road in T. Nagar, brings the brand's unique manufacturer-direct retail model to the state. This approach allows customers to purchase jewellery directly from the manufacturer, often at wholesale prices.

Alongside the showroom launch, Regal Jewellers introduced its Regal Sumangali Nermai Vizha program. Under this initiative, the company will support 25 deserving couples by covering their wedding expenses. Beneficiaries were presented with commitment certificates during the inauguration ceremony, which was attended by Hon'ble Speaker Sri. J. C. D. Prabhakar, MLA Thiru V. M. S. Mustafa, and company leadership. The wedding ceremonies are scheduled to take place after the traditional Aadi month.

Founder & Chairman Thiru Sivadasan T.K. envisioned this program, believing that Regal Jewellers' entry into Tamil Nadu should directly benefit the state's residents. MD & CEO Mr. Vibin Shivdas expressed gratitude for the warm reception in Chennai, thanking guests, customers, and well-wishers for being part of the memorable beginning.

Hon'ble Speaker Sri. J. C. D. Prabhakar commended the Regal Sumangali Nermai Vizha initiative, describing it as a thoughtful gesture that reflects the brand's genuine commitment to social responsibility. MLA Thiru V. M. S. Mustafa also congratulated Regal Jewellers on its expansion and appreciated the community-focused program.

Established in 1978, Regal Jewellers operates across Kerala, Karnataka, and now Tamil Nadu. The Chennai showroom is part of a broader expansion strategy in South India, with plans to open its next showroom in Puducherry.
