Key Financial Results & Updates

HCL Technologies reported robust performance for the June 2026 quarter, with net profit surging 20.3 percent year-over-year to Rs 4,624 crore. Revenue also saw a healthy increase of 13.9 percent year-over-year, reaching Rs 34,579 crore. The IT major's EBIT grew 18 percent year-over-year to Rs 5,831 crore, with its margin expanding by 58 basis points to 16.86 percent. Dollar revenue rose 2.96 percent year-over-year to $3.65 billion. The company also declared an interim dividend of Rs 12 per share for FY27.

ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company delivered a strong June quarter, posting a 23.1 percent year-over-year rise in net profit to Rs 964.6 crore. Revenue climbed 17.6 percent year-over-year to Rs 1,564.2 crore, underpinned by steady growth in Assets Under Management (AUM) and resilient operational performance. Operating profit for the quarter increased 20 percent year-over-year to Rs 1,100 crore.

Nuvoco Vistas Corporation, a leading cement player, announced a 20 percent year-over-year increase in consolidated net profit for the June 2026 quarter, reaching Rs 159.8 crore. Revenue grew 8.9 percent year-over-year to Rs 3,128.7 crore, reflecting improved sales volumes and healthy operational efficiency.

Significant Corporate Actions

  • Biocon: US healthcare giant Viatris, through its Mylan subsidiary, is reportedly planning a complete exit from Biocon. Industry sources and media reports suggest a block deal worth approximately Rs 3,481 crore ($365 million) to offload its 5.64 percent minority stake in the drugmaker.
  • State Bank of India (SBI): The public sector lender's subsidiary, SBI Funds Management, launched its Rs 9,813 crore initial public offering (IPO) for public subscription today. The price band for the IPO is set between Rs 545 and Rs 574 per share. SBI FM had already secured Rs 2,663 crore by allocating 4.63 crore shares to 129 anchor investors prior to the IPO opening.
  • Grasim Industries: The board of Aditya Birla Renewables (ABReN), a Grasim subsidiary, has approved a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) to acquire 100 percent of Solenergi Power (SPPL) from Shell Overseas Investment BV, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shell PLC, for Rs 17,200 crore.

  • Poonawalla Fincorp: The non-banking financial company (NBFC) announced that its finance committee has approved the issuance of secured, redeemable, rated, listed, non-convertible debentures (NCDs) worth up to Rs 500 crore via private placement. The NCDs, valued at Rs 1 lakh each, will be issued in dematerialised form.
  • Timken India: The engineering and bearings manufacturer has successfully obtained Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) licenses for two product categories across two of its manufacturing facilities.

  • Emcure Pharmaceuticals: The pharmaceutical company has executed share transfer agreements to acquire the remaining 12.05 percent stake (6,63,865 equity shares) in Gennova Biopharmaceuticals for Rs 231.87 crore, making Gennova a wholly-owned subsidiary.
  • EMS: The water treatment company has emerged as the lowest bidder for a sewerage work project valued at Rs 105.81 crore from UP Jal Nigam (Urban), Varanasi.
  • PDS: The global fashion supply chain solutions company has entered a 'sourcing as a service' (SaaS) contract with the global sourcing arm of a leading French-headquartered supermarket chain to manage and operate its textile sourcing operations across Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, and Turkey.
  • TBO Tek: Augusta TBO (Singapore) Pte sold a 2.04 percent stake in TBO Tek through open market transactions on July 13, reducing its shareholding from 5.54 percent to 3.5 percent.
  • Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances: The kitchenware firm has been granted a patent for an invention titled 'Improved safety knob for gas cooktops,' effective for 20 years from December 29, 2021.

Alembic Pharmaceuticals: The USFDA has issued a warning letter to the Clinical Investigator associated with a bioequivalence study conducted at the company's bioequivalence facility.
