NEW DELHI – As SEMICON India 2026 continues to draw attention to the nation’s burgeoning electronics and semiconductor ecosystem, an analyst has offered a detailed outlook on key stocks in the sector. Pradip Halder, Founder and CEO of PHD Capital, has highlighted Kaynes Technology India Ltd. and Moschip Technologies Ltd. as two companies on traders' radar, providing specific technical levels for potential movements.
Kaynes Technology: Awaiting Breakout Confirmation
Kaynes Technology, a closely watched name in the Indian semiconductor space, has seen significant investor interest. However, the stock has undergone a sharp correction from its peak near ₹6,858, subsequently forming a “double bottom” pattern on the charts, according to Halder. It is currently in a consolidation phase, making a clear breakout level crucial for its next directional move.
Halder advises investors to exercise caution and wait for a confirmed weekly close above ₹3,915 before considering a decisively bullish stance. Should this breakout materialize and sustain, he projects potential upside targets of ₹4,560, followed by ₹5,700. For existing holders, a stop loss at ₹3,165 is recommended to manage risk.
The analyst emphasizes that while the narrative around India's domestic chip capabilities is strong, technical confirmation is paramount over narrative-driven excitement at this stage, especially given earlier valuation concerns.
Moschip Technologies: The Preferred Semiconductor Pick
In contrast to Kaynes Technology’s need for breakout confirmation, Halder identifies Moschip Technologies as a preferred semiconductor pick due to its more favorable risk-reward profile. The stock has established a base around the ₹165-₹170 zone after reaching a high near ₹280-₹285.
Halder suggests that Moschip Technologies can be accumulated around the ₹190-₹200 range, or even from current levels (around ₹209 as of the report). He has set upside targets for Moschip at ₹235 and then ₹280, with a recommended stop loss near ₹185.
Broader Semiconductor Theme Remains in Focus
The broader takeaway from Halder's analysis is that India's semiconductor story continues to present stock-specific opportunities. However, disciplined entry and robust risk management strategies are crucial for investors. For Kaynes, the focus is squarely on chart confirmation for a fresh breakout, while Moschip appears to offer a more immediate accumulation opportunity based on its technical setup.
