While overall hiring within GCCs remains robust, the composition of the workforce is undergoing a notable transformation. Growth in permanent roles, particularly in general IT services, is experiencing a slowdown. Instead, organizations are opting for project-based engagements with AI and machine learning specialists. This approach enables GCCs to quickly integrate niche skills for specific, high-value tasks without the long-term commitments and overheads associated with a permanent workforce.
