Beats has officially launched its new flagship over-ear headphones, the Beats 360, in India. Priced at ₹42,900, this latest model introduces a significant customization option, allowing users to replace both ear cushions and headband cushions to match their preferred color, material, or style.
Designed for versatile use across daily routines, travel, and workouts, the Beats 360 headphones emphasize comfort and durability. They are equipped with an IPX4 rating, providing resistance to sweat and water.
Key Features & Customization
The standout feature of the Beats 360 is its innovative customization. Users can swap out ear and headband cushions, choosing from Performance Knit and UltraPlush materials. Initially available in Black, Cloud, Pink, and Sky, additional cushion kits expand the color palette to include six Performance Knit options and two UltraPlush variants. These cushion kits are sold separately, starting at ₹6,900 in select markets.
Advanced Audio Technology
Underpinning the listening experience are custom-made drivers with dual neodymium magnets and a new acoustic system designed for clear sound, strong bass, and minimal distortion. The Beats 360 incorporates Active Noise Cancelling (ANC), which intelligently adapts to block external sounds, and a Transparency mode for situational awareness. Personalized spatial audio with dynamic head tracking and Dolby Atmos support creates an immersive soundscape, while Adaptive EQ continuously adjusts sound based on the headphone fit.
For crystal-clear communication, the headphones integrate nine microphones, enhancing voice clarity during calls and supporting the ANC functionality.
Battery Life & Connectivity
The Beats 360 headphones offer impressive battery performance, delivering up to 32 hours of playback with ANC or Adaptive EQ enabled. A quick five-minute USB-C charge provides an additional hour of listening time. Connectivity is seamless across both Apple and Android devices, thanks to Bluetooth 5.3 support and features like automatic switching, Find My, Fast Pair, Audio Switch, and Find Hub.
Pricing & Availability
The Beats 360 headphones are priced at ₹42,900 in India. They became available for order starting September 22, and were slated to hit stores on September 24. Beats has also highlighted its commitment to sustainability, incorporating multiple components made from 80% recycled plastic, using 100% recycled rare earth elements in their magnets, and utilizing plant-based packaging.
