What Does AppleCare One Family Plan Offer?
- Unlimited Accidental Damage Repairs: Covers repairs for unexpected damage to eligible devices.
- Battery Service: Addresses issues related to device batteries.
- Theft and Loss Protection: Offers coverage in cases of device theft or loss across covered products.
The plan extends its protection to most Apple devices that are less than four years old and remain in good working condition. A notable feature is its flexibility: if a family member acquires a new Apple device after joining the plan, it is automatically added to the coverage without any increase in the monthly subscription fee.
Setting Up Your Family Plan
To begin using AppleCare One Family, users must first establish a Family Sharing account on an iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Following this, the primary account holder can invite up to five other individuals, forming a group of up to six people. Any eligible devices already owned by these invited family members can then be seamlessly integrated into the same AppleCare plan.
