Entrepreneur, digital creator, and author Ankur Warikoo recently shared insights from a unique experiment: asking ChatGPT for a daily routine to achieve above-average success. In an Instagram video, Warikoo highlighted that while many seek extraordinary paths, consistent small actions often pave the way for long-term growth.

Warikoo posed a direct question to the AI: "If I want to be more successful than 50% of the people in the world, then what behaviour, what skills, what habits should I focus on?" ChatGPT's response outlined a practical checklist of everyday habits designed to incrementally improve an individual's chances of sustained success.

Building a Consistent Foundation

One of ChatGPT's primary recommendations was the establishment of a consistent daily routine, beginning with a fixed wake-up time. This habit, regardless of the hour chosen, fosters discipline, boosts productivity, and creates a stable framework for the day. Complementing this, the AI emphasized the importance of regular physical activity, suggesting daily movement like walking, exercise, cycling, or yoga to enhance both mental well-being and physical energy.

Prioritizing Deep Work and Continuous Learning

The AI also advised against constant multitasking, advocating instead for dedicated periods of "deep work." ChatGPT suggested allocating two to four hours daily for uninterrupted, focused tasks, asserting that this approach leads to higher-quality output and more meaningful progress. Furthermore, it underscored the value of continuous learning, recommending 30 to 60 minutes of daily engagement in activities such as reading, online courses, or professional skill development. This consistent effort, the AI noted, compounds over time, ensuring adaptability and growth.

Holistic Well-being and Financial Prudence

ChatGPT's advice extended to holistic well-being. It highlighted the necessity of a balanced diet for sustained energy, concentration, and overall health. Financially, the AI recommended investing a portion of earnings rather than spending everything, a habit crucial for building long-term financial security. Critically, it also suggested eliminating common distractions, such as excessive social media scrolling, to free up valuable time for productive learning, work, and personal development.

Nurturing Relationships and Rest

Beyond individual habits, ChatGPT stressed the importance of strong relationships with family, friends, and colleagues. The AI pointed out that success encompasses more than just career achievements, and a robust support system contributes significantly to emotional well-being and resilience. Finally, the routine included a recommendation for at least seven hours of sleep nightly, essential for recovery, memory consolidation, effective decision-making, and overall productivity.

Warikoo concluded that while many search for complex formulas, true progress often emerges from consistently performing ordinary actions. As he aptly put it, "success is hidden in the boring."
