Born in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1956, Suneil Anand entered the world while his parents were en route to the prestigious Karlovy Vary Film Festival. Growing up within one of Hindi cinema's most prominent families, he was immersed in the world of films from an early age.
Despite pursuing higher education in the United States, where he earned a degree in Business Administration from American University in Washington, DC, Anand ultimately chose to follow his family's deep-rooted legacy in the film industry.

Suneil Anand made his acting debut in 1984 with Anand Aur Anand, a film directed by his father, Dev Anand, which was intended to launch him into the next generation of the famed Anand dynasty. He went on to feature in other films, including Car Thief (1986), Main Tere Liye (1988), and Master (2001).
While he did not achieve the same level of widespread commercial success as his celebrated father, Suneil Anand remained dedicated to filmmaking. In addition to his acting roles, he ventured behind the camera, directing the martial arts film Master, which was released in 2001.
