Brokerage Ratings and Outlook
- SMIFS: Recommended 'Subscribe for long-term', citing SFC's leadership in SBR technology, strong order book visibility, and expansion into tertiary treatment and solid waste as key growth drivers.
- SBI Securities: Assigned a 'Neutral' rating. While valuing the issue at a reasonable P/E ratio of 20.9x FY26 earnings and acknowledging encouraging growth prospects in biogas and waste-to-energy, concerns were raised about modest earnings growth and elevated receivable days due to government contract exposure.
- BP Equities: Recommended 'Subscribe'. They noted the P/E of 19.9x, slightly above the industry average, but highlighted the company's established presence, stable profitability, and growth opportunities in solid waste, compressed biogas, and international markets.
- Religare Broking: Rated 'Neutral'. They found the valuation stretched at a P/E of 540.9x, pointing to stagnant margins, an increasing cash conversion cycle (242 days in FY26), and declining asset turnover. They also noted the company's smaller size compared to peers.
- Ventura: Recommended 'Subscribe'. They emphasized SFC's competitive edge through proprietary technology, vertical integration, and an expanding presence in higher-value environmental solutions, including a significant order book in the WRR segment.
