Yatharth Hospital Shares Soar 8% on Advent International's ₹3,150 Crore Investment

Shares of Yatharth Hospital & Trauma Care Services surged over 8% to a record high after global private equity firm Advent International announced a ₹3,150 crore primary capital investment. This strategic move will see Advent acquire a 24.9% minority stake.

Yatharth Hospital & Trauma Care Services Ltd. experienced a significant boost in its stock value, with shares climbing as much as 8.37% to reach an all-time high of ₹1,065.05 in Thursday's trading session. This surge follows the company's announcement of a substantial investment from Advent International, a prominent global private equity investor.

Advent International's Strategic Investment

In an exchange filing, Yatharth Hospital confirmed that Advent International has entered into a definitive agreement to infuse ₹3,150 crore of primary capital into the company. Upon the successful completion of this transaction, which is subject to customary closing conditions, Advent International is expected to hold a 24.9% significant minority stake in the hospital chain.

The company clarified that the promoter, the Tyagi Family, will maintain its position as the largest shareholder. They will continue to guide the company's long-term vision, working alongside a strong leadership team comprised of experienced healthcare and business professionals.

Leadership Comments on the Partnership

Yatharth Tyagi, Whole-time Director at Yatharth Hospitals, remarked on the importance of this investment. He expressed enthusiasm for partnering with the Yatharth family to leverage Advent's global healthcare expertise and experience in founder-led businesses to support the company's growth.

Yatharth Hospital's Operations

Yatharth Hospital currently operates nine multi-speciality hospitals, boasting approximately 2,800 operational beds. The company has an overall announced capacity of about 3,250 beds. As of June 2026, promoters held a 55.80% stake in the hospital group.
