TVS Motor Company has announced a significant achievement, recording its highest-ever electric vehicle (EV) sales in July 2026. According to VAHAN data, the automaker registered 55,480 EV units during the month, marking a new benchmark for the company.
Surpassing Previous Milestones
This latest figure represents a substantial increase over TVS Motor's prior record of 51,781 EV registrations, which was set just a few months earlier in March 2026. The consistent growth highlights the increasing demand for electric two-wheelers in India and TVS Motor's strong presence as a market leader.
In the competitive Indian electric two-wheeler market, TVS Motor's performance in July outpaced key rivals. Bajaj Auto, the second-largest electric two-wheeler manufacturer, recorded 45,592 EV registrations, while Ather Energy reported 30,324 units for the same period.
Overall Growth Across Segments
Beyond EV sales, TVS Motor Company demonstrated robust overall growth in July 2026. The company's total wholesales reached 629,675 units, a significant 38% increase compared to 456,350 units sold in July 2025.
The two-wheeler segment, a core business area, also saw strong performance. Total two-wheeler sales grew by 38%, with 603,138 units sold in July 2026, up from 438,790 units in July 2025. Domestic two-wheeler sales alone surged by 42%, reaching 437,394 units.
