Suzlon, BSE, ITC: Technical Analysis & Trading Levels for Top Stocks

· · 3 min read

Anand Rathi analysts provide technical outlooks for Suzlon Energy, BSE Ltd, and ITC Ltd. Suzlon shows reversal potential, BSE faces a downtrend, while ITC remains in a weak-to-cautious setup with key support levels identified.

Indian equity markets opened the week on a subdued note, with inflation concerns and rising crude oil prices impacting investor sentiment despite a strong Q1 earnings season. Amidst this backdrop, Jigar S Patel, Senior Technical Research Analyst at Anand Rathi Share and Stock Brokers Ltd, has offered a technical analysis for select buzzing stocks: Suzlon Energy Ltd, BSE Ltd, and ITC Ltd.

Suzlon Energy: Buy Recommendation

Suzlon Energy is currently exhibiting signs of a potential positive reversal. The stock has found strong support near the Rs 46–47 zone, bouncing robustly from the lower Keltner Channel. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) stands at 43.90, indicating a recovery from lower levels and improving momentum. The broader technical setup remains constructive as long as the stock maintains its position above Rs 47.

  • Target Price: Rs 51.20 - Rs 56.50
  • Stop Loss: Rs 47

Immediate resistance is anticipated at Rs 51.20, with a more significant hurdle between Rs 55–56.50, aligning with the Keltner mid/upper band. A decisive breakout above Rs 56.50 could pave the way for the stock to reach Rs 60–62. Conversely, the Rs 46–47 area remains a crucial support zone; holding this level is vital for the recovery structure to stay intact. Analysts suggest that the risk-reward ratio is improving, with bullish momentum likely to strengthen once the stock surpasses Rs 51.20.

BSE Ltd: Caution Advised

BSE Ltd is currently experiencing a downtrend, with the stock trading around Rs 3,347. The technical setup remains cautious, as the price has fallen below the Keltner mid-band. The RSI at 34.70 signals weak momentum, and the Directional Movement Index (DMI) indicates a bearish trend, with the -DI significantly above the +DI. Although the Average Directional Index (ADX) at 29.03 confirms the strength of the prevailing trend.

  • Support: Rs 3,250
  • Resistance: Rs 3,500

Immediate support for BSE is located between Rs 3,230–3,250, near the lower Keltner band. A definitive break below this zone could extend the correction towards Rs 3,000. On the upside, immediate resistance is found at Rs 3,450–3,500, followed by Rs 3,650–3,785. For the setup to improve, the stock needs to decisively reclaim the Rs 3,500 level. Given the current weakness, fresh buying is recommended to be staggered and preferably confirmed by clearer bullish signals.

ITC Ltd: Sell on Rally

ITC Ltd continues to operate within a weak-to-cautious technical framework, trading near Rs 273.40 and below its Keltner mid-band at Rs 285.73. The RSI at 34.87 indicates weak momentum, and the DMI shows a bearish bias with the -DI leading the +DI.

  • Support: Rs 268 - Rs 255
  • Resistance: Rs 285 - Rs 300

The immediate and critical support for ITC is in the Rs 268–270 range, coinciding with the lower Keltner band. A decisive breakdown below Rs 268 could push the stock further down towards Rs 260–255. Resistance levels are first seen at Rs 285–286, followed by Rs 298–303. To signal a meaningful trend reversal, ITC would need to decisively reclaim Rs 303. Until then, any rallies towards resistance levels are likely to encounter selling pressure. Recent technical readings underscore the importance of monitoring the Rs 268–270 support zone closely.
