Credit Ratings and Fixed Investment Plan
Shriram Finance's fixed deposits are backed by strong credit ratings from leading agencies, including CRISIL AAA/Stable, [ICRA]AAA (Stable), IND AAA/Stable from India Ratings and Research, and CARE AAA/Stable. These ratings reflect the company's robust financial health and creditworthiness, although they do not eliminate inherent investment risks.
The company has also announced revised rates for its Fixed Investment Plan (FIP), effective October 11, 2026. While specific FIP rates were not detailed in the announcement, the additional benefit of 0.05 percentage points for women depositors will continue under the revised terms.
Competitive Landscape
The updated Shriram Finance FD rates position its highest offering at a competitive 7.85% per annum, with the added premiums for senior citizens, women depositors, and renewals making it an attractive option in the current market for fixed income investments.
