Technical Analysis and Expert Outlook
Despite the strong performance, the stock's Relative Strength Index (RSI) stands at 82, well above the 70-mark, suggesting it is currently in the overbought zone. This signals that a short-term consolidation or profit booking might occur.
Jigar S Patel, a research analyst from Anand Rathi, noted that the stock has support at Rs 1100 and resistance at Rs 1250. He suggested that a decisive breakout above Rs 1250 could pave the way for a further rally towards Rs 1300, projecting a short-term trading range of Rs 1100-Rs 1300.
Virat Jagad, Sr. Technical Research Analyst at Bonanza, echoed a bullish sentiment, highlighting Raymond's strong uptrend. He pointed to the recent breakout above the Rs 1100–Rs 1150 zone, which was supported by robust trading volumes, confirming significant buying interest. Jagad also cautioned about the overbought RSI (83.34), advising investors to avoid chasing the stock at current levels. Immediate resistance is identified at Rs 1240, with support at Rs 1150–Rs 1170 and major support at Rs 1100. He added that a sustained breakout above Rs 1240 could open paths towards Rs 1300–Rs 1310.
Aerospace Expansion Fuels Positive Sentiment
A key factor contributing to the positive market sentiment around Raymond is its recent strategic entry into the higher-value aero-structures segment. Its subsidiary, JK Maini Global Aerospace, successfully secured a tender to assemble wing and center fuselage structures for an indigenous fighter aircraft program. This win significantly strengthens Raymond's aerospace franchise, which reported a 40% year-over-year revenue growth in Q1FY27, coupled with impressive 21% EBITDA margins. The aerospace division currently boasts a substantial order book of Rs 5960 crore, signaling strong future prospects.
