NSE, Hero Motors Lead Five Major IPOs Opening This Week

The primary market is buzzing as five significant Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) are scheduled to open for subscription this week, including the highly anticipated NSE IPO. Other companies like Hero Motors, SS Retail, Jindal Supreme, and Sonaselection will also launch their public issues.

Investors are gearing up for a busy week in the primary market as five significant Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) are set to open for public subscription. Leading the pack is the much-anticipated NSE IPO, alongside offerings from Hero Motors, SS Retail, Jindal Supreme, and Sonaselection. These public issues will collectively bring a diverse range of companies to the stock market, with subscription periods primarily falling between September 16 and September 21, 2026.

National Stock Exchange (NSE) IPO

The National Stock Exchange's IPO is scheduled to open for public subscription on September 17, 2026, and will close on September 21, 2026. Its anchor book will be accessible a day earlier, on September 16. The price band for this offering has been fixed at Rs 1,700 to Rs 1,785 per share. Comprising entirely an Offer For Sale (OFS), the issue involves 12.64 crore equity shares, a slight reduction from the initially proposed 14.9 crore shares. At the upper end of its price band, the NSE IPO is projected to raise approximately Rs 22,569 crore, with proceeds going directly to the selling shareholders.

SS Retail IPO

SS Retail's Initial Public Offering will commence its subscription period on September 16, 2026, concluding on September 18, 2026. The anchor book for this issue will open on September 15. The company has set its price band between Rs 403 and Rs 424 per share. The IPO structure includes a fresh issue aiming to raise up to Rs 360 crore, complemented by an Offer For Sale (OFS) where existing shareholders, including promoters, will divest shares worth up to Rs 140 crore.

Jindal Supreme (India) Ltd IPO

Manufacturer of plastic piping solutions, Jindal Supreme (India) Ltd, has announced a price band of Rs 88 to Rs 93 per share for its IPO. This Rs 125-crore issue will open on September 16, 2026, and close on September 18, 2026. The offering is composed of a fresh issue of 1.07 crore equity shares, which would amount to nearly Rs 100 crore at the upper price band, and an Offer For Sale (OFS) of 26.86 lakh shares, valued at around Rs 25 crore, by promoter group entity VVJ Enterprise Private Limited.

Hero Motors Ltd IPO

Auto parts manufacturer Hero Motors Ltd has fixed its IPO price band at Rs 79 to Rs 84 per share. This substantial Rs 1,000-crore issue will be open for subscription from September 16, 2026, to September 18, 2026. The IPO consists of a fresh issue of shares worth up to Rs 600 crore, alongside an Offer For Sale (OFS) of shares up to Rs 400 crore by its promoters.

Sonaselection IPO

Sonaselection has set its IPO price band at Rs 94 to Rs 99 per share. The subscription window for this issue is scheduled from September 17, 2026, to September 21, 2026, with the anchor book opening on September 16. The Bhilwara-based company's maiden public issue is entirely a fresh issue, comprising 1.43 crore equity shares. At the upper price band of Rs 99, this fresh issue is valued at Rs 141.57 crore, with no Offer For Sale component.

Grey Market Premiums and Listing Dates

Unofficial market indicators, known as Grey Market Premiums (GMPs), offer an early glimpse into potential listing performance, though they do not guarantee future prices. As of recent reports, Sonaselection's IPO GMP stood at Rs 0, indicating trading at its issue price. The NSE IPO, however, commanded a GMP of Rs 210, suggesting an 11.76 percent premium over its upper price band. SS Retail's IPO showed a GMP of Rs 120, implying a 28.30 percent premium, while Jindal Supreme's GMP was Rs 27, indicating a 29.03 percent premium. Hero Motors' IPO had a GMP of Rs 24, suggesting a potential listing gain of 28.57 percent.

The tentative listing date for shares of NSE and Sonaselection is September 24, 2026. Meanwhile, SS Retail, Jindal Supreme, and Hero Motors shares are expected to list on September 23, 2026.
