Italian luxury carmaker Maserati has significantly expanded its presence in India, unveiling five new models that include electric vehicles, updated core range cars, and track-derived supercars. The strategic move aims to double the brand's annual sales in one of the world's fastest-growing luxury automotive markets.
The announcement coincided with the formal launch of Navnit Maserati in Mumbai on October 30, marking a new chapter for the Trident brand. Maserati CEO Santo Ficili attended the event, which also celebrated the opening of a new flagship showroom in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), operated in partnership with the Navnit Group.
New Models and Electrification Drive
Maserati introduced a diverse range of vehicles to the Indian market:
- Updated Grecale: The luxury SUV now features revised styling, enhanced performance, and updated technology.
- GranTurismo and GranCabrio: Maserati's iconic coupe and convertible also receive refreshes.
- MC20 (MCPura): The mid-engine supercar makes its India debut.
- GT2 Stradale: A road-legal version of Maserati's GT2 race car, positioned at the top of the performance range.
A key highlight of the launch is the strong emphasis on electrification. The Grecale Folgore, GranTurismo Folgore, and GranCabrio Folgore introduce all-electric options, offering Indian buyers a choice between traditional petrol performance and electric luxury motoring.

Maserati's refreshed core range was first unveiled globally in June 2026, with the India launch following shortly.
