Launched at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹10.32 lakh, the new model remarkably retains the same starting price as its predecessor, despite boasting a host of significant upgrades in features, mechanics, and design.
Value-Driven Pricing Strategy
The decision to hold the entry-level price point at ₹10.32 lakh is a strategic move by Mahindra, aiming to offer enhanced value to consumers. While the base price remains unchanged, the Thar OG's lineup extends up to ₹18.99 lakh, depending on the chosen engine, transmission, and drivetrain configurations. Introductory prices are valid for deliveries until November 30, 2026, with nationwide deliveries commencing on October 11, 2026.

Visually, the Mahindra Thar OG receives several updates that refine its rugged aesthetic:
