KEC International Secures Rs 1,063 Cr in New Orders; Stock in Focus

Global infrastructure firm KEC International announced new orders worth Rs 1,063 crore across its civil, T&D, renewables, and cables businesses. This brings its year-to-date order intake to over Rs 6,300 crore, putting its stock under investor spotlight.

KEC International, a prominent global infrastructure Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) major, has announced securing new orders valued at Rs 1,063 crore across its diverse business segments. This significant influx of contracts brings the company's year-to-date order intake to an impressive sum exceeding Rs 6,300 crore, drawing considerable attention to its stock.

Details of the New Orders

The newly secured projects span several key areas of KEC International's operations:

  • Civil Construction: A substantial order for a high-rise residential project has been awarded by a renowned real estate developer. This project involves the development of 24 lakh sq. ft. of residential buildings and associated facilities in Northern India. KEC International now boasts a portfolio of approximately 80 high-rise buildings under construction for various clients nationwide.
  • Transmission & Distribution (T&D): The T&D business has secured orders for a 400 kV Transmission line in Africa, alongside contracts for the supply of towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas, further diversifying its international presence.
  • Renewables: KEC International has secured its fourth order in the Wind EPC segment, a 50+ MW Wind EPC project from an existing private developer in Western India, strengthening its footprint in the renewable energy sector.
  • Cables & Conductors: Various orders have been received for the Cables & Conductors business, both within India and in overseas markets.

Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO of KEC International, expressed satisfaction with these wins. “We are pleased with the new order wins across our businesses despite global uncertainties,” he stated. “Our Civil business has expanded its customer base in the Buildings & Factories segment by securing a prestigious order in Northern India.”

Market Performance and Company Profile

Following the announcement, KEC International shares closed 2% higher at Rs 478.75 on Monday, pushing the firm's market capitalization to Rs 12,744 crore. A total of 1.17 lakh shares were traded, amounting to a turnover of Rs 5.59 crore. Despite this recent positive movement, the civil construction stock has experienced a challenging period, losing 35% in 2026 and falling 42% over the past year.
