· · 2 min read

The Indian School of Business (ISB) will award 250 scholarships annually, offering up to 100% tuition fee waivers for its flagship management programs. This initiative, part of its 25th-anniversary commitments, aims to broaden access to world-class management education for high-potential candidates.

The Indian School of Business (ISB) has announced a significant expansion of its scholarship offerings, committing to award 250 scholarships annually. These scholarships, part of the new ISB25 Scholars Programme, will provide tuition fee waivers ranging from 25% to a full 100% for students enrolling in its flagship Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) and the Post Graduate Programme in Management for Young Leaders (PGP YL).

This initiative marks ISB's 25th anniversary and is designed to make premier management education more accessible to a diverse pool of talent. Scholarships will be granted based on a combination of merit and demonstrated financial need, aiming to support candidates from varied economic, geographic, and professional backgrounds.

Expanding Research and Faculty Development

Beyond financial aid, ISB is also establishing the India Research Commons, a pioneering national platform. This commons will provide scholars with critical resources, including curated datasets, advanced research tools, methodological guidance, and state-of-the-art AI-enabled research infrastructure. The goal is to foster robust academic inquiry and contribute significantly to knowledge creation within India.

In a further commitment to national educational development, ISB plans to launch a national faculty development programme. This initiative will share ISB's distinctive pedagogy, effective classroom practices, and technology-enabled teaching methodologies with other management institutions across India, aiming to elevate the standard of management education nationwide.

A Quarter Century of Excellence

Founded in 2001, ISB has grown to become a globally recognized institution with campuses in Hyderabad and Mohali, boasting an alumni network of over 20,000 across more than 65 countries. Its PGP program is currently ranked number one in India and number two in Asia by the Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2026.

Professor Madan Pillutla, Dean of ISB, emphasized the institution's forward-looking vision: "ISB@25 is an opportunity not only to celebrate our journey, but to define our commitment for the future. Our promise is to make excellence more accessible, knowledge more shareable, and research more usable for institutions and scholars across the country."

These new commitments build upon recent innovations, including the launch of the PGP YL in 2025—which saw over a third of its inaugural cohort receive tuition waivers—and ISB Discover, a digital platform introduced in the same year to make faculty research broadly accessible to policymakers, business leaders, and the public.
