Key Companies Under Scrutiny

Titan Company

The Tata Group's jewellery and watch giant reported a robust performance for the September 2026 quarter, with domestic business surging 22% year-on-year (YoY) and international business experiencing a significant 97% YoY jump. Its consumer business expanded by 25% and the watch segment grew 30% YoY. Titan also expanded its retail footprint, adding 77 domestic and 1 international store, bringing its total store count to 3,758.

HCL Technologies

The IT major has unveiled plans for a substantial expansion of its HCL IT City, committing Rs 500 crore for the project. This expansion is set to add 9.5 lakh square feet of capacity, accommodating an additional 4,500 technology professionals. Furthermore, HCL Tech announced an initiative to train 1,000 students across Uttar Pradesh in AI and related technologies.

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ)

APSEZ has established Paradip Mahanadi Terminal as a wholly-owned subsidiary. This new entity will be responsible for the development and operation of two dry bulk berths at Paradip Port in Odisha, reinforcing Adani Group's presence in port infrastructure.

Mphasis

The midcap IT firm has extended its collaboration with Social Security Scotland through a new £35.4 million agreement. Under this contract, Mphasis will continue to manage and maintain Scotland's benefits management platform, which serves approximately 2 million citizens.

Ola Electric Mobility

Ola Electric's board is scheduled to convene today, October 7, to deliberate on various matters pertaining to a rights issue. The company is considering raising up to Rs 1,000 crore through this issuance of partly paid-up equity shares.
