Kalyan Jewellers India Ltd. has announced a significant consolidated revenue growth of over 26% for the September quarter (Q2 FY2027) compared to the same period last financial year. This strong performance was primarily fueled by robust operational momentum within India and healthy same-store sales growth (SSSG) across key markets.
The company's India operations witnessed an impressive revenue growth of approximately 27% in Q2. This was achieved despite a high base from strong Navratri sales in the previous year, with all nine days of Navratri this year falling within the second quarter. The quarter recorded an overall same-store sales growth of around 20%.
Kalyan Jewellers' lifestyle jewellery brand, Candere, also posted substantial growth, with revenue increasing by about 64% year-on-year. Furthermore, the company launched its first regional brand, Akshaya Thanga Maligai (ATM), in Chennai in August, which has shown encouraging revenue traction in its initial 40 days of operation.
During the recently concluded quarter, Kalyan Jewellers significantly expanded its retail presence, opening 12 new Kalyan showrooms in India (net 11), nine Candere showrooms in India, and one Kalyan showroom in the UK. The company plans to launch four more franchise showrooms during the current financial year, with two expected in the ongoing quarter and two in Q4.
Internationally, the company's operations grew by approximately 18% in Q2. Specifically, the Middle East market saw revenue growth of about 12% for Q2 FY2027 compared to Q2 FY2026, driven entirely by same-store sales growth. International markets contributed roughly 11% to the consolidated revenue for the quarter.
In a strategic move to optimize assets, Kalyan Jewellers completed the sale of one of two identified non-core real estate parcels for approximately Rs 86 crore during the quarter. The sale of the second parcel, valued at about Rs 16 crore, is expected to be finalized in the ongoing quarter. The company also successfully reduced its non-GML debt to zero during this period. As of September 30, 2026, Kalyan Jewellers operates 546 showrooms across India and international markets, including 365 Kalyan showrooms in India, 38 in the Middle East, two in the US, two in the UK, and 138 Candere showrooms.
With fresh collections, marketing campaigns, and new showroom launches, Kalyan Jewellers is well-prepared for the upcoming festive and wedding season.
