The leading hospital chain, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise, announced impressive financial results for the June 2026 quarter. The company reported a 38.4 percent year-on-year (YoY) surge in net profit, reaching Rs 610.4 crore. Revenue also saw a substantial increase of 20.6 percent YoY, totaling Rs 7,043.5 crore. EBITDA climbed 28.2 percent YoY to Rs 1,092 crore, with margins standing at a healthy 15.5 percent for the quarter.

Jio Financial Services Secures Major BofA Joint Venture

Jio Financial Services (JFSL) has entered into a definitive agreement with Bank of America Corporation (BofA). Under this agreement, BofA will acquire up to a 49.9 percent stake as a joint venture partner in Jio Credit, JFSL's wholly-owned NBFC lending subsidiary. This strategic partnership involves a preferential allotment of equity shares and warrants, representing an investment of Rs 18,268 crore by BofA.

UltraTech Cement Faces Significant Block Deal

Media reports, citing informed sources, suggest that Pilani Investment and Industries Corporation is likely to divest 17 lakh shares, equivalent to a 0.6 percent equity stake, in UltraTech Cement. This transaction is expected to occur via a block deal, estimated to be valued around Rs 1,909 crore, with a floor price set at Rs 11,481 per share.

GMR Airports Returns to Profitability

GMR Airports, a major player in airport management, has successfully returned to profitability in the first quarter of the current fiscal year. The company posted a net profit of Rs 91 crore. Revenue grew significantly by 23.7 percent YoY to Rs 3,964 crore, while EBITDA increased 24 percent YoY to Rs 1,447 crore. The EBITDA margin expanded to 36.5 percent for the quarter, indicating improved operational efficiency.

Lenskart Solutions Reports Soaring Profits

Eyewear retailer Lenskart Solutions delivered exceptionally strong results for the June 2026 quarter. The company's net profit witnessed a sharp 269.2 percent YoY jump, reaching Rs 221.8 crore. Revenue also saw robust growth, climbing 43.3 percent YoY to Rs 2,714.2 crore. EBITDA surged 75.1 percent YoY to Rs 588.5 crore, with the EBITDA margin improving to 21.7 percent.

Tata Motors CV Demonstrates Solid Performance

The commercial vehicle division of Tata Motors reported an impressive 83.2 percent YoY surge in net profit, amounting to Rs 2,560 crore, for the quarter ending June 30, 2026. Revenue increased 19.3 percent YoY to Rs 20,667 crore. EBITDA grew by 8.6 percent YoY to Rs 2,640 crore, with the EBITDA margin improving to 15.83 percent during the quarter.

IRCTC Shows Mixed Results

The state-run railway ticketing and catering arm, IRCTC, reported a marginal 0.2 percent YoY decline in net profit, settling at Rs 330 crore, for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. However, revenue increased by 18.1 percent YoY to Rs 1,369.5 crore. EBITDA fell 2.7 percent YoY to Rs 386.7 crore, leading to a decline in the EBITDA margin to 28.2 percent.
