Honda Cars India has officially unveiled the updated Elevate mid-size SUV, with prices commencing at ₹11.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The top-spec ZX+ Black CVT variant is priced at ₹18.40 lakh. This facelift brings a series of enhancements, including a refreshed exterior design, a more premium cabin, additional convenience features, and an expanded advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) package.
Refreshed Exterior Design
The new Elevate sports a redesigned front fascia, highlighted by a bold mesh grille and distinctive tri-bar LED position lights. Gloss-black styling elements contribute to a modern aesthetic, complemented by new 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. At the rear, a full-width connected LED tail lamp enhances the updated look. Honda has also introduced a new Nordic Forest Pearl exterior colour, expanding the total colour options to seven.
Premium Interior and Enhanced Features
Inside, the updated Elevate features an Ivory-Black dual-tone cabin, creating a more sophisticated ambiance. Soft-touch finishes, piano-black accents, and wrap-around orange ambient lighting elevate the interior's premium feel. For improved comfort, the SUV now offers front and rear ventilated seats, leather upholstery, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a four-way power-adjustable front passenger seat.
Technological upgrades include a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Convenience is further boosted by a 360-degree surround-view camera, front and rear parking sensors, USB-C charging ports, a PM2.5 air-quality display, and an eight-speaker audio system.
Powertrain and Performance
Under the hood, the Honda Elevate retains its reliable 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine, which generates 121 PS of power and 145 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual gearbox or a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with seven-speed paddle shifts. The manual variant offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 15.31 km/l, while the CVT promises 16.61 km/l.
Advanced Safety and ADAS Suite
Safety remains a priority with the updated Elevate, which comes equipped with six airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), and Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA). An electronic parking brake with auto-hold function adds to driver convenience. The Honda SENSING ADAS suite has been expanded, with CVT variants now gaining Low-Speed Follow functionality, providing enhanced assistance in slow-moving traffic conditions.
Variant Lineup
The updated Elevate is available in a comprehensive range of grades. Manual transmission options include SV, V, VX, ZX, and ZX+ variants. For those preferring the CVT, the lineup comprises V, VX, ZX, and ZX+ grades.
