Major Sambyal's Distinguished Military Career
Hailing from a family with a strong military tradition in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district, Rishabh Singh Sambyal embarked on his military journey after clearing the National Defence Academy examination in 2013. He subsequently trained at the Indian Military Academy before being commissioned into the Indian Army.
During his service, Major Sambyal served with the Jat Regiment and the elite 4 Para Special Forces. A New Chapter: Post-Retirement Ventures
Major Sambyal took premature retirement from the Army in late August or early September 2026, citing personal family commitments.
