Brokerages Bullish on Coforge's Enterprise Autonomy & AI Strategy Despite Stock Dip

· · 3 min read

Coforge's stock dipped nearly 2% on Friday, yet brokerages remain bullish on its enterprise autonomy and AI strategy. They highlight investments in AI, reusable assets, and a shift towards autonomous enterprise workflows, projecting potential growth. The firm's market capitalization also slipped below Rs 80,000 crore.

Shares of Coforge experienced a nearly 2% decline on Friday, settling at Rs 1,755.15 and pushing its market capitalization below the Rs 80,000 crore mark. This recent dip follows a correction of over 13% from its 52-week high of Rs 2,021.95, recorded in August 2026. Despite this, the stock remains up 75% from its 52-week low of Rs 1,008.50 in March 2026.

Coforge's Strategic Shift to Enterprise Autonomy

Despite the recent market fluctuations, brokerage firms are expressing strong optimism regarding Coforge's strategic pivot towards enterprise autonomy and its significant investments in artificial intelligence (AI). This strategy, outlined during a recent session, emphasizes moving beyond traditional AI assistance to owning the execution and ongoing management of enterprise AI workflows.

Key components of Coforge's approach include its proprietary platforms: Nuuron, Data Cosmos, AgenticOps, and Momentuum Blue. Brokerages highlight the potential for these initiatives to expand Coforge's wallet share and open doors for outcome-based pricing models, although the pace of adoption and monetization remains a crucial factor to monitor.

Brokerage Insights on AI and Autonomy

Motilal Oswal notes a fundamental shift in enterprise AI, where systems are increasingly performing a larger share of work, with human intervention focused on exceptions and critical judgments. This evolution positions value creation less on generic AI tools and more on enterprise-specific data, context, and decision-making capabilities.

PL Capital pointed out a gap between the adoption of agentic AI and full enterprise autonomy. While approximately two-thirds of Coforge's clients utilize agentic AI, only about 5% are currently orchestrating full autonomy. This gap, driven by challenges in enterprise context, data readiness, security, and cost control, presents significant opportunities for Coforge's specialized offerings.

JM Financial underscored enterprise context as a vital differentiator, especially as core AI models and compute resources become more commoditized. Nuuron, according to JM Financial, integrates AgenticOps, Data Cosmos, and Momentuum Blue to operationalize enterprise autonomy. AgenticOps is reportedly live with 37 clients, demonstrating 98.2% action accuracy and achieving 1.2 million autonomous resolutions daily.

Data Capabilities and Investment

  • Data Cosmos: Features over 122 data assets, 68 AI agents, and 52 live client deployments.
  • Agent Archetypes: Coforge has developed more than 100 reusable agent archetypes.
  • Talent Pool: The company boasts over 11,000 data and AI practitioners.
  • Investment: In FY26, Coforge invested $58 million in AI innovation.

PL Capital also observed clients' growing adoption of multimodel architectures, with open-source models accounting for around 35% of token consumption. As model capabilities converge, opportunities arise in optimization, token economics, security, governance, and the continuous creation of agents, reskilling, and workflow redesign.

Momentuum Blue and Engineering Talent

Motilal Oswal reported that the Momentuum Blue unit currently has 70-75 forward-deployed engineers (FDEs) and aims to grow this number to 150. JM Financial highlighted that these engineers undergo a rigorous 12-week training program, estimating the total U.S. supply of such specialized engineers at 5,000-7,000.
