Adani Airport Holdings Limited and IHG Hotels & Resorts have announced a significant partnership to develop five new hotels across India. This collaboration marks the highly anticipated entry of Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, IHG's luxury lifestyle brand, into the Indian market. The agreement is set to expand India's hospitality sector by adding approximately 1,500 hotel rooms across various brands and strategic locations.
Kimpton's Luxury Arrival and Key Locations
The partnership will see the launch of a Kimpton hotel in the historic city of Jaipur, bringing its signature design-led, boutique luxury experience to India for the first time. Alongside this premium offering, the agreement includes the development of Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express properties in several high-growth urban centers.

These new hotels will be seamlessly integrated into Adani Airport Holdings' ambitious mixed-use airport city developments, aiming to create comprehensive travel and urban destinations.
Driving India's Travel and Hospitality Growth
Pranav Adani, Director, Adani Enterprises, emphasized the group's vision to establish world-class destinations that integrate travel, accommodation, and urban experiences around India's expanding aviation ecosystem.

Adani Airport Holdings is actively developing extensive airport city projects, spanning approximately 663 acres across key Indian cities, combining aviation infrastructure with hospitality, retail, and commercial ventures. Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia, IHG Hotels, noted the robust demand from business, leisure, and transit travelers for airport-led developments in India.
"The partnership with Adani Airport Holdings reflects the scale of opportunity we continue to see in India’s hospitality sector," Jain commented, adding that the agreement would bolster IHG's presence in high-growth markets and introduce the Kimpton brand to the country.
IHG currently operates 52 hotels across six brands in India and has a substantial pipeline of 98 additional hotels slated to open within the next three to five years, underscoring its commitment to the Indian market.
