OpenAI has introduced a new feature allowing ChatGPT mobile users to create and share AI-generated stickers directly within popular messaging platforms like WhatsApp, Instagram, and Apple Messages. This update expands ChatGPT's capabilities beyond text and standalone image generation, bringing personalized visual content to everyday conversations.
Personalized Sticker Packs for Everyone
The new sticker generation tool is powered by ChatGPT Images 2.0 and is available globally to all ChatGPT mobile users without any additional cost. Instead of relying on pre-made designs, users can now describe their desired stickers using simple text prompts, and the AI will generate a customized collection.
Users can request sticker packs based on personal moments, inside jokes, favorite characters, or even cartoon-style versions of friends, family, or pets. For example, a prompt could be for a pack featuring a dog reacting to Monday mornings, or tiny samosas cheering. This makes messaging more engaging and tailored to individual interactions.
Features and Customization Options
Each AI-generated sticker pack can contain up to nine unique stickers, offering several variations around a single theme. ChatGPT also provides a selection of up to 18 distinct visual styles, including popular aesthetics like Anime, Holographic, and 3D, allowing users to choose a look that best suits their preferences.
Further personalization is possible by remixing sticker packs with emojis. Once a pack is created, users can easily download it or share it directly through their supported messaging applications, making these custom stickers usable in both individual and group chats. This integration aims to make messaging more expressive and fun, leveraging the power of generative AI in a practical, user-friendly way.
