Apple has officially opened pre-orders in India for a diverse range of eight new products, catering to various user needs from portable entertainment to powerful professional workstations and advanced smart home devices. This latest rollout includes significant upgrades to tablets, desktop computers, and laptops, alongside new additions to Apple's home ecosystem.
New Mobile and Desktop Powerhouses
Leading the charge is the much-anticipated OLED iPad mini, featuring an 8.5-inch OLED display for stunning visuals. Powered by Apple’s A20 Pro chip and boasting IP67 water and dust resistance, it's thinner and lighter than its predecessor. Prices begin at ₹82,900 for the Wi-Fi model and ₹1,00,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular version, with availability commencing November 6.
For desktop users, the updated iMac with M6 chip maintains its vibrant 24-inch 4.5K Retina display and seven color options. This refresh brings enhanced performance, along with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 connectivity. The new iMac starts at ₹1,74,900 and will also be available from November 6.
The 14-inch MacBook Pro with M6 offers substantial performance improvements, integrating on-device AI capabilities and an impressive battery life of up to 24 hours. Indian consumers can pre-order this model starting at ₹2,39,900, with shipments beginning November 6.
Further expanding the professional laptop lineup are the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, now featuring PROLED XDR OLED displays, innovative touch controls, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Dynamic Island functionality. These powerful machines are driven by either the M5 Pro or M5 Max chips. The 14-inch M5 Pro model starts at ₹3,49,900, while the 16-inch variant begins at ₹4,09,900. Both high-end MacBook Pros are scheduled for availability from November 9.
Smart Home and Entertainment Upgrades
In the smart home category, the HomePod mini 2 is available for pre-order at ₹18,900. It promises improved audio quality, with future software updates planned to enhance Siri AI support. This device will be available to customers starting October 30.
Apple also introduces Apple HomeView, a new smart home display designed for entertainment, video calls, and managing connected devices. It is priced from ₹39,900 and is set to become available on November 13.
Finally, the fourth-generation Apple TV 4K, offering an upgraded home entertainment experience, is also available for pre-order at ₹39,900, with its availability scheduled for November 13.
