YES Bank, Nykaa, Welspun Living: Expert Stock Analysis & Trading Levels

· · 3 min read

Anand Rathi analysts offer trading insights for YES Bank, Nykaa, and Welspun Living. Recommendations include a wait-and-watch for YES Bank, profit booking for Nykaa, and avoiding Welspun Living at current high levels.

Indian equity markets recently posted decent gains, buoyed by supportive global cues such as softer US jobs data, eased crude oil prices, and a more favorable interest rate outlook. In this active market environment, several key stocks are drawing significant attention from traders.

Jigar S Patel, Senior Technical Research Analyst at Anand Rathi Share and Stock Brokers Ltd (ARSSBL), has provided detailed technical analysis and trading recommendations for YES Bank, FSN E-Commerce Ventures (Nykaa), and Welspun Living for the upcoming trading sessions.

Welspun Living: Avoid Chasing Highs

Welspun Living has demonstrated a strong upward trajectory, currently trading above its 10, 20, and 50-day Exponential Moving Averages (DEMAs), which generally indicates a positive broader trend. However, the stock appears significantly overextended following its recent rally.

Momentum indicators, including the Relative Strength Index (RSI), are showing signs of exhaustion, suggesting a potential slowdown in the pace of the upmove. The immediate support level for Welspun Living is positioned around Rs 225, while Rs 245 acts as a crucial resistance point.

Given the stretched price structure and weakening momentum, investors are advised to avoid chasing the stock at its current elevated levels. Those who hold the stock from lower price points might consider partial profit booking to secure gains. New long positions should be deferred until the stock undergoes a healthy correction or consolidation, accompanied by an improvement in momentum indicators.

YES Bank: Wait and Watch for Breakout

YES Bank Ltd continues to face pressure from a medium- to long-term technical perspective. The stock is currently trading below its 50-week EMA, which signifies a persistent weak broader trend and potential selling pressure at higher valuations.

The immediate support level for YES Bank is identified around Rs 20, a critical point to observe for any signs of stability. On the upside, Rs 22 represents a crucial resistance zone. A decisive daily closing above Rs 22 would significantly enhance the technical setup and could signal a potential trend reversal, making the counter more attractive for fresh long positions.

Until such a breakout occurs, investors are encouraged to maintain a wait-and-watch approach and refrain from aggressive fresh buying. Sustaining above the Rs 22 mark is considered the key trigger for renewed bullish momentum.

FSN E-Commerce Ventures (Nykaa): Consider Profit Booking

Nykaa, trading under FSN E-Commerce Ventures, is currently undergoing a period of consolidation within a broad range of Rs 323–345. This sideways movement follows a strong rally from approximately Rs 240 to nearly Rs 340, suggesting the stock is taking a breather and digesting its previous gains.

The Rs 345 level remains a critical resistance point. A decisive breakout above this zone, supported by sustained buying momentum, could signal the resumption of its uptrend. Conversely, Rs 323 serves as an important support level for the ongoing consolidation phase.

Until a clear breakout is established, investors should avoid chasing the stock at higher levels. Those who accumulated the stock at lower prices may consider partial profit booking near the upper end of the current trading range. A breakout above Rs 345 would be the primary trigger for fresh bullish momentum.
