Post the impressive quarterly figures, global financial firm HSBC assigned a 'Buy' rating for Trent, setting a target price of ₹3,390. This projection implies a substantial 32% upside from the previous closing price of ₹2,575, reflecting analyst confidence in the company's growth trajectory.
Strong Q2 Performance and Retail Expansion
Trent reported a standalone revenue growth of 23% year-over-year in Q2 FY27, reaching ₹5,788 crore, up from ₹4,724 crore in the same period a year ago. Revenue from merchandise sales, excluding other operating income, also saw a 23% increase during the quarter, highlighting strong consumer demand.
The first half of FY27 saw total revenue climb 21% year-over-year to ₹11,454 crore. A key highlight of the quarter was a significant milestone for Trent’s rapidly expanding Zudio business, which celebrated the opening of its 1,000th store. The company further expanded its physical footprint by adding 10 new Westside stores and 17 new Zudio outlets during Q2.
