The automatic variant carries a price premium of ₹2.21 lakh over its manual counterpart.

- Gloss-black alloy wheels
- A contrasting black roof
- Black rear door garnish

Further distinguishing the special edition are body-side mouldings and an exclusive bonnet emblem. Buyers can select from three exterior color options: Super White, Platinum White Pearl, and Attitude Black.
Refined Cabin and Added Convenience
Inside, the Fortuner Leader Edition receives a refreshed cabin designed to elevate the passenger experience. The interior features dual-tone black and maroon seat upholstery, complemented by matching door trims. Toyota has also integrated several new convenience features:
- Ambient lighting
- Illuminated scuff plates
- Auto-folding outside rear-view mirrors
- A Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
These additions aim to provide a more sophisticated and comfortable environment for occupants.
Unchanged Powertrain and Ownership Benefits
Under the hood, the Leader Edition maintains the Fortuner's proven mechanicals. It continues to be powered by a 2.8-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, generating 201 hp. The engine delivers 420 Nm of torque with the six-speed manual transmission and an enhanced 500 Nm when paired with the six-speed automatic transmission.
Toyota is also offering attractive ownership packages, including financing plans for up to seven years and its Smart Balloon Finance scheme. The ownership benefits extend to five years of complimentary roadside assistance and a standard warranty of three years or 1,00,000 km, which can be extended to five years or 2,20,000 km. Customers can also opt for the Toyota Smiles Plus service program for comprehensive maintenance.
The introduction of the Fortuner Leader Edition reinforces Toyota's strong presence in the premium SUV segment, where it competes with models such as the MG Gloster, Jeep Meridian, and Skoda Kodiaq.
