Bengaluru-based Subex Ltd. saw its shares jump by over 9% on Thursday, reaching a high of Rs 18.70 on the BSE. The significant increase followed the company's announcement of a new 0.6 million euro deal with a prominent European open-access fibre operator.
The three-year agreement positions Subex to deploy its advanced Partner Ecosystem Management solution. This will be delivered as a fully hosted and managed service, aiming to enhance the operator's wholesale business ecosystem. Subex highlighted that the engagement would improve operational efficiency, scalability, and accuracy for the European client, especially as network complexities continue to grow.
Expanding European Market Presence
Under the terms of the contract, Subex will provide comprehensive end-to-end operations, professional services, and ongoing support. This integrated approach will enable the European operator to manage complex settlement processes efficiently without the burden of maintaining internal systems, a critical advantage in the demanding telecommunications landscape.
Nisha Dutt, MD and CEO of Subex, commented on the strategic importance of the win. "Wholesale Business is one of the most demanding settlement environments in telecom, and winning a new operator of this scale in Europe reflects the strength of our direction," Dutt stated. "We’re not just delivering software; we're operating the Partner Ecosystem Management solution for them, and that is a model we intend to scale across the region."
Strengthening Wholesale Business Capabilities
This new engagement further solidifies Subex's position within the competitive European wholesale market. The deal underscores the company's commitment to expanding its footprint and offering advanced solutions that address the evolving needs of telecommunications operators globally. The Partner Ecosystem Management solution is designed to streamline partner interactions and revenue settlements, crucial for large-scale fibre networks.
The company's regulatory filing detailed the contract as a 'new-logo engagement' in Europe, confirming the deal's value and three-year duration. This strategic win is expected to contribute positively to Subex's financial performance and market standing in the coming years.
