SS Retail, a prominent multi-brand retailer of mobile phones and electronics, is poised to launch its Initial Public Offering (IPO) on Wednesday, September 16. The Rs 500 crore issue will be open for subscription until Friday, September 18, offering investors an opportunity to participate in the company's expansion.
IPO Details and Price Band
The mobile retailer has set the price band for its shares at Rs 403 to Rs 424 per equity share, each with a face value of Rs 10. The total issue size comprises a fresh issue of equity shares valued at Rs 360.75 crore, alongside an Offer for Sale (OFS) amounting to Rs 140 crore. At the upper end of the price band, SS Retail's market capitalization is projected to be Rs 3,154 crore.
For retail investors, one lot will consist of 35 shares, requiring a minimum investment of Rs 14,840 at the upper price band. Bids can be placed in multiples of 35 shares thereafter.
Allocation and Timeline

The remaining funds will be allocated for general corporate purposes.
SS Retail operates a robust multi-brand retail chain spanning five Indian states: Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, and Gujarat. As of March 2026, the company boasted 503 stores across India, with 458 of these located in Maharashtra. The company positions itself as the largest mobile phone retail chain in West India and ranks as the third-largest nationally among its competitors.
Financial Performance and Management
For the fiscal year ended March 2026, SS Retail reported a consolidated profit of Rs 59.2 crore on revenues of Rs 2,351 crore. Looking back, the standalone profit for the fiscal year ended March 2025 saw a substantial 49.6 percent year-on-year increase, reaching Rs 39.86 crore, while revenue grew 32.4 percent to Rs 1,597.9 crore.
Anand Rathi Advisors and Emkay Global Financial Services have been appointed as the merchant bankers responsible for managing the SS Retail IPO, overseeing the offering process.
