Marvel's 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' has achieved an India gross of ₹557.44 crore as it enters its third week. The film's global box office has surpassed $2 billion, marking a significant milestone for the franchise.

The Tom Holland-led Marvel film, 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day', continues its impressive theatrical run in India, with its gross collections now standing at approximately ₹557.44 crore. This blockbuster has also made a massive impact globally, crossing the $2 billion mark worldwide, making it the first Spider-Man film to achieve this monumental feat.

India Box Office Performance

The film opened strongly in India, securing ₹60.60 crore on its first day. Its biggest single-day collection was recorded on its inaugural Sunday, bringing in ₹77.75 crore net. The first week proved to be a spectacular success, amassing ₹334.75 crore, followed by a strong second week adding ₹108.65 crore to its net total.

Entering its third weekend, 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' maintained momentum, collecting ₹3.90 crore on Friday, ₹10.15 crore on Saturday, and ₹8.75 crore on Sunday. According to Sacnilk data, the film's net collection in India has reached ₹466.23 crore. On Day 19, Monday, preliminary reports indicated an approximate net collection of ₹0.03 crore, with figures still being updated.

Language Contributions and Future Projections

The English version of the film remains the primary driver of its India business, contributing around ₹255.02 crore net. The Hindi version follows with approximately ₹169.43 crore. Regional language collections include Tamil at ₹24.39 crore and Telugu at ₹16.59 crore, with Malayalam and Kannada versions also adding to the overall gross.

With its India gross already exceeding ₹557 crore, industry analysts, including Sacnilk, project that 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' could surpass the ₹575-crore gross mark in its lifetime run, despite new competition entering the market. The film is currently running across 508 shows with a reported occupancy of 21.6% for its 19th day.
