Shares of Siemens Energy India Limited (SEIL) soared by nearly 15% on Friday, making it the top gainer on the BSE. The significant rally came after the company announced its robust third-quarter (Q3) earnings for the fiscal year 2026, showcasing strong financial performance and an expanding order book.
The stock closed at Rs 3733.10, marking a 14.79% increase from its previous closing price of Rs 3251.95. This surge propelled the energy firm's market capitalization to Rs 1.30 lakh crore.
Impressive Financial Highlights for Q3 FY2026
Siemens Energy India reported a substantial 67.8% rise in net profit for Q3 FY2026, reaching Rs 441 crore, compared to Rs 263 crore in the same period last year. Revenue also saw a healthy increase of 39.3%, climbing to Rs 2486 crore in the June 2026 quarter from Rs 1785 crore year-on-year.
Operational profitability significantly improved, with profit from operations (PFO) margin expanding by 430 basis points year-on-year to 21.9%. This improvement was primarily attributed to better operating leverage, increased export contributions, and disciplined execution of orders.
Growing Order Backlog Fuels Optimism
Adding to the positive sentiment, the company's order backlog grew by 16.4% to Rs 19,331 crore in Q1 (fiscal Q1) against Rs 16,601 crore in the June 2025 quarter, indicating strong future revenue potential.
