Royal Enfield has announced its most successful festive season to date, recording an impressive 267,400 motorcycle sales across September and October 2026. This performance surpassed the company's full festive total from the previous year, even before the season officially concluded.
The iconic Indian motorcycle manufacturer posted monthly sales of 133,442 units in October 2026 alone, marking a 7% year-on-year growth. Domestic sales contributed significantly with 121,527 units, while exports saw a notable 47% increase compared to the previous year, climbing to 11,915 units.
125th Anniversary Edition Sells Out Rapidly
A major highlight of the festive period was the launch of the exclusive 125th Anniversary Edition Hypershift Classic 650. This limited-edition model, restricted to just 125 units per key region globally, sold out in India in under 360 seconds, demonstrating immense consumer demand and brand loyalty.
B. Govindarajan, MD of Eicher Motors Ltd and CEO of Royal Enfield, commented on the stellar performance, stating, "It has been an exceptional festive season for us. Riders across the country continue to choose our brand, making this our best-ever festive performance. The strong response across our portfolio, from classics like the Classic 350 to new additions like the Himalayan 440, reflects the enduring bond we share with our riding community."
Global Expansion and Sustainability Efforts
Beyond the impressive sales figures, Royal Enfield also marked several international milestones. The Classic 650 125th Anniversary Edition was launched across the APAC region, and the Guerrilla Apex 450 was introduced in Malaysia. The brand also expanded its retail footprint with a new exclusive store in Taiwan and participated in the Retro Racing Trophy in Korea, where the Continental GT 650 secured top spots.
On the environmental front, Royal Enfield pledged over ₹3 crore towards snow leopard conservation on International Snow Leopard Day, fulfilling a commitment made during "One Ride 2026." The company also partnered with the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board for a two-year initiative promoting responsible riding and cultural immersion.
Furthermore, Royal Enfield's electric mobility brand, Flying Flea, continued its retail expansion, opening new sales and service centers in Hyderabad and Pune, building on its initial success in Bengaluru.
