· · 2 min read

Raghav Productivity Solutions, a subsidiary of Raghav Productivity Enhancers Ltd., has been granted two patents by India's Patent Office. These innovations cover a precision batching system and a method for producing ramming mass from quartz fine, enhancing the company's leading position in refractory materials.

Raghav Productivity Enhancers Ltd. (RPEL) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Raghav Productivity Solutions Pvt Ltd, has been awarded two significant patents by the Centre's Patent Office. The patents, granted on September 14, 2026, under the Patents Act, 1970, recognize inventions crucial to quartz processing and the production of silica ramming mass.

Details of the Patented Innovations

The first patent is titled "Precision Automated PLC Weighing & Batching System," highlighting an advanced system designed for accurate and automated material handling. This innovation is expected to streamline and optimize the initial stages of material preparation.

The second patent covers a "Method and System for Production of Ramming Mass from Quartz Fine." This invention focuses on an improved process for creating silica ramming mass, a critical refractory material, directly from fine quartz particles. Both patents are valid for a 20-year term, effective from their respective filing dates on December 13, 2025.

Impact on a Global Leader

These patented inventions are directly related to the company's core business of quartz processing for silica ramming mass production. Raghav Productivity Enhancers Ltd. is recognized as the world's largest manufacturer of silica ramming mass, a high-purity refractory material essential for lining induction furnaces during metal melting. The company, which operates in technical collaboration with JWK AB, Sweden, supplies its products across India and exports to over 36 countries globally.

The acquisition of these patents reinforces RPEL's commitment to innovation and solidifies its technological advantage in the refractory materials market, further strengthening its position as a key supplier to leading steel manufacturers, foundries, and casting plants.

Company Stock Performance

In related market activity, Raghav Productivity Enhancers shares saw a positive movement, closing 5.79 percent higher at Rs 1,844.25 on Friday last week.
