Netweb Technologies Shares Jump 3% After ₹1,200 Crore QIP Allotment

Netweb Technologies India Ltd. shares climbed 3% after successfully allotting 2.5 million equity shares to qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) at ₹4,790 each, raising ₹1,200 crore. This QIP significantly increased the company's paid-up equity capital.

Netweb Technologies India Ltd. saw its shares rise by 3% in Thursday's trading session following the successful allotment of 2,505,219 equity shares to eligible qualified institutional buyers (QIBs).

The company’s fund-raising committee approved the issue at a price of ₹4,790 per share, collectively raising ₹1,200 crore. This development propelled Netweb Technologies' stock up by 2.69% to hit a high of ₹5,565 on the BSE.

Following the Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP), Netweb Technologies India's paid-up equity share capital increased from ₹11,38,81,374, comprising 5,69,40,687 shares, to ₹11,88,91,812, now consisting of 5,94,45,906 shares. The company has stated that the updated shareholding pattern will be submitted with the listing application.

Key Institutional Investors in the QIP

Several prominent institutional investors participated in the QIP allotment:

  • ICICI Prudential Flexicap Fund: Allotted 1,92,709 shares, representing 7.69% of the total equity shares offered. ICICI Prudential AMC schemes collectively received 16.67% of the issue.
  • Nomura India Investment Fund (Mother Fund): Received 3,28,064 shares, accounting for 13.10% of the total issue.
  • Goldman Sachs India Equity Portfolio: Allotted 2,80,740 shares, or 11.21% of the issue.
  • Edelweiss funds: Collectively received 8.33% of the issue.
  • Think India Opportunities Master Fund: Also allotted 8.33% of the issue.
  • Invesco India Flexi Cap Fund: Received 1,56,577 shares, making up 6.25% of the total.

Netweb Technologies India operates in the computer server business, offering a range of solutions including servers, workstations, storage, cloud services, High-Performance Computing (HPC), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and big data solutions.

The company's shares have demonstrated strong performance over the past year, rallying 162%. Over the last five years, the stock has surged by 502%, with a 76% gain recorded so far in 2026.
