State-run oil marketing companies are responsible for monthly adjustments to non-subsidised rates. While domestic LPG rates are benchmarked against uniform import parities, local taxes and transportation logistics contribute to noticeable price discrepancies between different states and regions.
Delhi notably offers the lowest CNG and PNG rates among the four major metros, a benefit attributed primarily to reduced local taxes and an extensive pipeline distribution network.
