Indian Stock Market: Tata Motors PV, LEAP India, Technocraft in Focus Today

Several Indian companies, including Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, LEAP India, and Technocraft Ventures, are in the spotlight ahead of Friday's trading. LEAP and Technocraft make market debuts, while Tata Motors PV reports Q1 profit decline.

The Indian stock market sees several companies in focus as trading begins on Friday, August 14, 2026. This comes after a mixed close for benchmark indices on Thursday, influenced by softer inflation data and ongoing geopolitical risks. Investors are keenly watching new market debuts, quarterly earnings reports, and significant corporate actions.

Two Companies Make Market Debuts

LEAP India, a supply chain solutions provider, is set to make its stock market debut today. The company successfully raised Rs 2,480 crore through its initial public offering (IPO), which was subscribed 8.38 times. Shares were offered in a price band of Rs 151-159.

Joining LEAP India, Technocraft Ventures, an EMS and engineering solutions firm, also lists on the exchanges today. Its IPO garnered substantial interest, being subscribed 38.7 times, and raised Rs 252 crore. The shares were priced between Rs 200-212 apiece.

Key Quarterly Earnings Reports

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles announced its June 2026 quarter results, reporting a significant 80.2% year-on-year fall in net profit, which stood at Rs 775 crore. Despite this, revenue saw a 9.3% rise to Rs 95,799 crore, though EBITDA declined by 20.4% to Rs 6,176 crore, with margins dropping to 6.5%.

Life insurer Max Financial Services posted an annualised premium equivalent (APE) of Rs 1,922 crore for the June 2026 quarter. Its value of new business (VNB) reached Rs 446 crore, with VNB margins improving to 23.2%.

Consumer electronics giant LG Electronics India reported a net profit of Rs 652.9 crore and revenue of Rs 7,233.4 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company's EBITDA was Rs 904.2 crore, and margins improved to 12.5%.

Other companies releasing their June 2026 quarter results include Honasa Consumer, which saw net profit rise to Rs 90.2 crore on revenues of Rs 755.9 crore, with EBITDA margins improving by 689 basis points to 14.57%. Basmati rice maker KRBL reported a net profit of Rs 260.7 crore and revenue of Rs 1,495.9 crore, with EBITDA margins at 20.56%.

Additionally, Brigade Enterprises, Welspun Living, and Indigo Paints also released their quarterly financial performance, showing varied results across sectors.

Corporate Developments and Block Deals

Aditya Birla Real Estate's subsidiary, Birla Estates, announced its expansion into the Navi Mumbai market. This strategic move involves the redevelopment of Shiv Sai Co-operative Housing Society in Vashi, a project estimated to have a revenue potential of approximately Rs 2,600 crore.

In other news, media reports suggest an existing shareholder in Piramal Pharma is likely to sell a 6% stake through block deals. The estimated offer size for this transaction is around Rs 1,750 crore, potentially at a minor discount to the previous closing price.

Companies Announcing Q1 Results Today

A host of other companies are slated to announce their June 2026 quarter results today, including Alkem Labs, Physicswallah, Bharat Dynamics, 3M India, Ashok Leyland, Easy Trip Planners, Jinkushal Industries, NMDC, Patanjali Foods, Puravankara, and INDO-MIM.

Ex-Dividend Stocks

Several prominent companies are trading ex-dividend today, August 14. These include Apollo Hospitals, HPCL, Federal Bank, Indian Oil, Ganesh Consumer Products, Godawari Power, HAL, Alkali Metals, Anup Engineering, Astral, Bondada Engineering, Canara HSBC Life, Crest Ventures, Dynamatic Technologies, Global Health, Minda Corporation, Quality Power, Rain Industries, RBL Bank, REC, Sonata Software, and Yatharth Hospital.
