ICSE, ISC Results 2026 Expected This Week: How to Check Class 10 & 12 Scores

· · 2 min read

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is anticipated to release ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 results for 2026 this week. Students can check their scores on cisce.org or results.cisce.org using their UID and Index Number.

Students who appeared for the ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 board examinations earlier this year are on high alert as the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is expected to declare results shortly. While official dates are still being processed, trends from previous years suggest a release before the end of April.

Where and How to Check Your CISCE Results

Once announced, students will be able to access their scorecards on the official CISCE websites: cisce.org and results.cisce.org. To log in and view results, candidates will need their unique identification (UID) number and Index Number. It is advisable to keep these details readily available ahead of the announcement.

Anticipated Release Date and Past Trends

CISCE officials have confirmed that the final result dates are still being processed and will be announced through official platforms. However, there is widespread expectation that the results will be released this week. Looking at past declaration dates, the trend shows a consistent shift towards late April:

  • 2025: April 30
  • 2024: May 6
  • 2023: May 15

This pattern suggests that the 2026 results are likely to follow suit, potentially arriving by the end of April.

Exam Overview and Student Participation

The ICSE Class 10 examinations were conducted from February 17 to March 30, 2026, while the ISC Class 12 examinations took place from February 12 to April 6, 2026. Approximately 2.6 lakh students appeared for the ICSE board exams, and nearly 1.5 lakh candidates sat for the ISC examinations, bringing the total to nearly 4 lakh students awaiting their scores.

2025 Pass Percentages and Policy Changes

In 2025, the ICSE Class 10 pass percentage stood at an impressive 99.35%, with the ISC Class 12 pass percentage closely following at 99.34%. These figures set a high benchmark for the 2026 results.

A significant policy change for this academic year is the discontinuation of compartment exams. Students now have the option to apply for re-evaluation and improvement examinations in up to two subjects within the same academic year, providing a new pathway for those looking to enhance their scores.
