· · 2 min read

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is set to declare ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 results for 2026 shortly. Students must keep admit card details ready to access their scores online.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is expected to announce the results for the ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 examinations for the year 2026 very soon. While an official declaration date is still pending, historical trends suggest the results may be released by the end of April or in the first week of May. Students who appeared for these exams should prepare their necessary credentials to check their scores promptly.

Once declared, students will be able to access their provisional marksheets through multiple platforms. The official websites for checking results are cisce.org and results.cisce.org. Additionally, scores will be available via the DigiLocker service and through SMS.

Accessing Your Scores Online

To successfully log in and view their results, candidates will need specific details from their admit cards. This includes their course, index number, a seven-digit unique identification number (UID), and a captcha code for verification. It is important to note that the marksheets accessed online will be provisional. Students will be required to collect their original scorecards directly from their respective schools at a later date.

Understanding Passing Criteria and New Rules

For ICSE Class 10 students, the passing criterion mandates securing at least 33% marks in each individual subject. ISC Class 12 candidates, on the other hand, need a minimum of 35% marks both overall and in each subject, with passing in English being a compulsory requirement for all. CISCE has also implemented a significant change by discontinuing compartment exams. Instead, students now have the option to apply for re-evaluation or improvement exams in up to two subjects within the same academic year.

The ICSE Class 10 examinations were conducted from February 17 to March 30, 2026, while the ISC Class 12 exams took place between February 12 and April 6, 2026. This year, approximately 2.6 lakh students appeared for the ICSE exams, and around 1.5 lakh candidates took the ISC exams. Students are advised to keep a close watch on official CISCE announcements for the exact result declaration date.
