Honda Cars India has introduced the updated 2026 City facelift sedan and the all-new ZR-V eHEV SUV. Both models feature significant design enhancements, hybrid technology, and premium features aimed at strengthening Honda's market presence.

Honda Cars India has marked a significant product showcase today with the simultaneous launch of the updated 2026 Honda City facelift and the all-new Honda ZR-V eHEV SUV in the Indian market. This dual launch signals Honda's strategy to bolster its presence in both the mid-size sedan and premium SUV segments.

2026 Honda City Facelift: Sharper Design & Advanced Features

The 2026 Honda City facelift receives one of its most substantial cosmetic updates in recent years. Exterior enhancements include a redesigned front bumper, a revised grille, and smoked LED headlamps. A new connected LED light bar serves as daytime running lights (DRLs), contributing to a more modern aesthetic. The sedan is also expected to feature upgraded projector LED headlamps, giving it a sportier and more premium appearance.

Technological upgrades are also evident, with a front-mounted camera suggesting the integration of a 360-degree camera setup and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Inside, while the dashboard layout remains largely familiar, Honda is anticipated to introduce a larger touchscreen infotainment system with updated software. Standard features like wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and connected car technology will continue to be offered.

With these styling and feature additions, the new Honda City facelift is expected to see a price hike of approximately ₹20,000 to ₹50,000, depending on the variant and powertrain. The City continues to be a strong contender in the mid-size sedan segment, competing against rivals such as the Hyundai Verna, Skoda Slavia, and Volkswagen Virtus.

Honda ZR-V eHEV SUV: Flagship Premium Offering

Alongside the City facelift, Honda has launched the all-new Honda ZR-V eHEV SUV, which arrives in India as a completely built-up unit (CBU). This premium SUV is positioned as Honda’s flagship SUV offering in the country, sitting above the Honda Elevate in the company’s lineup.

Globally, the Honda ZR-V boasts a sleek and sporty design characterized by sharp LED headlamps, L-shaped LED DRLs, and an illuminated Honda logo integrated into the grille. The SUV features chrome detailing, sporty bumper elements, and a honeycomb-pattern lower air intake. Its coupe-inspired silhouette, panoramic sunroof, and flush roof rails further enhance its premium appeal.

In terms of dimensions, the ZR-V measures 4,568 mm in length, 1,840 mm in width, and 1,620 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,657 mm and a ground clearance of 180 mm, offering 390 liters of boot space. The interior is expected to feature a premium dual-tone cabin, a layered dashboard design, a large touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.2-inch digital driver’s display, wireless charging, and dual-zone climate control.
